Hi! We are Mike and Amy Maguire, both 3rd generation Wayne, PA residents who were lucky enough to grow up with grandparents and countless relatives living nearby. There was always someone to visit with and a place to pitch in, and from there we each developed a deep sense of gratification from helping others.
Ironically our families were friends for generations, but being “kids” we didn’t really meet until we were adults (Mike would say that’s because I am older than he is, which is true, but there’s really no reason to bring that up, MIKE.) When we finally did meet we immediately clicked and it felt as though we had known each other forever.
With a shared sense of service, problem solving and finding satisfaction through helping others, we often find ourselves toward the top of the list when friends or family are looking for help moving something, packing something, hauling something or solving something, and we also find that those are some of our most enjoyable, fulfilling moments.
We’re not entirely sure why it took this long, but it finally occurred to us: why are we not formalizing ourselves so that we can do what we love for more people who may not have family nearby or who feel bad asking their friends for help?
So here we are. I am a full-time marketer and Mike is a career fireman, but even with two kids in Radnor Schools we still find ourselves with time to spare and are excited to see where our love of pitching in may take us.
